Detailed Description :: Bariatric I-1000 Wheel Chair

The Barton Convertible I-Series I-1000 bariatric wheelchair and accompanying positioning and transfer system (PTS), available separately are designed to allow a single caregiver the ability to transfer and frequently reposition the dependent bariatric patient safely and easily.

The I-1000 bariatric tasks chair performs the function of a stretcher, mobile chair, and custom seating. Being able to frequently move and care for the larger bariatric patient significantly reduces the chance of pressure ulcers and greatly increases the patient’s tolerance for long-term seating.
