The Barton bariatric medical equipment corporation has developed Bariatric Solutions that include the Barton bariatric hospital bed with unique features that allows a single caregiver to transfer a non- or limited ambulatory bariatric patient weighing up to 1000 lbs. safely, easily and efficiently. 

The linear actuator-driven bariatric bed allows bending movement at the waist and knees, as well as tilting forward and back in either upright or prone bariatric bed positions.

• The Barton Bariatric Transbed B-1000 has 1,000 lbs capacity and 5-function system allows a quiet and smooth maneuvering of patient into a variety of positions to include Trendelenberg and reverse Trendelenberg.
  
  
• Flexible, with expandable width (39 to 48 inches) and length (86 to 92 inches).
  
  
• The Barton bariatric bed Fits through standard hospital doorways.
  
  
• Swing-away trapeze allows bariatric patient to reposition themselves, yet swings out of the way to allow care-giver easy access to patient and access for medical bariatric lifting equipment.
  
  
• Barton's "Helping-Hand" side-egress bars allow patients to help themselves into and out of bed promoting a general sense of independence.
  
  
• Solid polypropylene headboard and footboard designed for strength and durability as well as easy integration of the Barton PTS.
  
  
• The Barton Transbed B-1000 comes with built-in digital scale.
