Global Medical Sales Policies

EMAIL/Privacy
We respect your email privacy rights and we do not sell or authorize the use of your email for any other purpose than to obtain information from Global Medical Sales. 

Order Processing
Orders will be processed for fulfillment within 24 hours of receipt.

To cancel an order, please contact us via telephone or email. If you request cancellation of an order after the order has shipped, you will be responsible for all shipping charges even if you refuse the package and do not sign for the delivery. Please note that our warehouse does not ship on weekends, nor is Saturday or Sunday delivery available. Orders may be delayed by increased holiday business, out-of-stock items, or unforeseen difficulties. We will make every attempt to meet shipping deadlines.

International Orders
For international shipping rates and transit times please contact us to request a rate quote. Orders shipped to addresses outside the continental U.S. will be subject to higher shipping and insurance rates, as well as applicable customs, duties, and taxes. All such expenses will be the responsibility of the customer, regardless of whether the package is received or refused by the customer.

Order Acceptance Policy
Your receipt of an electronic or other form of order confirmation does not signify our acceptance of your order, nor does it constitute confirmation of our offer to sell. We reserve the right at any time after receipt of your order to accept or decline your order for any reason. We may require additional verification or information before accepting any order.

Credit Card Declines
If your credit card is declined during order processing, you will be notified via telephone and/or email within 24 hours. You will have 7 days in which to contact us with a different credit card number or alternative payment method. If after 7 days we have not received a response, your order will be canceled.

Address Holds

If you have placed an order with a billing address other than what your credit card company has on file for you, your order will be held until we can verify the correct address. If you are shipping your order to an address other than your billing address, you may be required to provide further verification prior to shipment. Your order will remain on hold for a 7 days, after which if we have not received a response to our requests for more information, your order will be canceled.

Shipping Information
We calculate shipping rates based on current shipping tables. For larger items such as equipment and electronics, it may be necessary to calculate the shipping rates based on the weight and oversized nature of the item. These charges will be different than what you may receive in your order confirmation. All applicable insurance and handling fees will also be added to the cost of shipping your order. These fees will be fair and as inexpensive as we can make them. If you have any questions regarding your shipping charges, please contact us via telephone or email.

Trucking Deliveries
All trucking deliveries are made via trucking and local transit companies (if available in your area). Unless otherwise stated, standard delivery will be curbside only. You will need to be prepared to unload the package once it arrives. Products delivered by trucking can not be canceled once the trucking company has picked up the item.

Important Note
Before signing for any trucking delivery, examine all items for signs of damage. If any damage is found, make certain the delivering agent notes the damage on the release form.

Out-of-Stock Items
If for some unforeseen reason an item is no longer available, or will be backordered for an extended period of time, you will be notified immediately.

Sales Tax
Orders shipped within Florida will be subject to the applicable sales tax . For all other states, purchaser is responsible for state and local sales tax.

Forms of Payment
We accept all major credit cards including Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express . There is no surcharge for using your credit card to make purchases. Please be sure to provide your exact billing address and telephone number (this is the address and phone number your credit card bank has on file for you). Incorrect information may cause a delay in processing your order. Your credit card will be billed upon shipment of your order.

Orders are processed upon receipt and verification of payment. We do not accept personal checks of any kind. Industrial customers may request open account terms. Completion of our credit application is required. After completion we will alert you to the credit terms assigned (if approved).

Order Status
Once you have placed your order, you will receive confirmation via email that your order has been received.

Returns Information/Damaged Products

All claims must be made within 15 days of the date of shipment (not receipt) for all deliveries. The claim can be initiated by you or a Global Medical representative. All original packing materials and/or boxes must be saved and made available for inspection in order for a damage claim to be considered by the shipper. Global Medical will not be liable for any monies lost if the claim is not filed within the required time period. If you decide to file a claim with the shipper directly, you must notify us to receive proper credit or replacement.

Defective Products

Global Medical offers a 30 day (from date of shipment) replacement or credit policy for defective products. Prior to returning any item, please contact the manufacturer to confirm the item is defective. Customers who do not want an item repaired or replaced can request a return authorization, however a 15% restocking fee will be accessed to cover testing, repair, cleaning and repackaging expenses. Items found not to be defective may be subject to additional fees.

Select and Special Order Products
Repair and replacement requests for special order and select products must go through the manufacturer. Please note that once delivered, the products listed can not be returned for credit. Any item delivered via trucking can not be refused or returned for credit once in transit. If a trucking delivery is refused, charges will be incurred. These charges may include, but are not limited to, delivery and return transit costs and storage fees.

Non-Defective Product Returns
Non-defective ("Buyers Remorse") products can be returned within 7 days if returned unopened, for credit less shipping. Items that have been opened can be returned, but will be subject to a 15% restocking fee to cover testing, cleaning and repackaging expenses. In addition to this fee, a pro-rated charge (up to 100%) will be assessed for items that are returned incomplete or with non-resalable parts.

Return Notes
All returns must be pre-approved by applying for an RMA number (Return Merchandise Authorization). To accomplish this, please , including a description of the issue in the comments field. Not providing the detailed information requested will delay the returns process. Any item returned or refused without applying for an RMA, will be subject to a 15% restocking fee. Once your request has been received, you will be contacted within 7 business days with an RMA number and instructions for sending back the item(s). The RMA number, once provided, is valid for 2 weeks only. You must re-package any item(s) being returned as it was delivered to you, with all components, materials and documentation. If you received your item double boxed, it must be returned in this manner. Once shipped, email the tracking number(s) to us with your Global Medical order number. We will notify you via email of your refund once we have received and processed the returned item(s). Shipping costs are refunded only if the return is a result of mis-shipment. Please allow up to 2 billing cycles for your credit to be posted to your account.

Product Warranties
All warranty service for original customers is provided by Global Medical or the manufacturer of the product. The customer is responsible for all shipping charges to the warranty location. This warranty does not cover any loss of business, profits, or other consequential damage, either real or perceived, that may have resulted from any malfunction of the product. Damage from flood, lightning strikes, earthquake, any other acts of God, mishandling, dropping, or infestation is not covered by this warranty. This warranty is also void if Global Medical determines that the product has been damaged due to insufficient packaging during any return shipment. Global Medical reserves the right to determine whether alterations have been made, or damages caused, by such facts that would serve to void the terms of this warranty.

Typographical Errors
In the event a product is listed incorrectly due to typographical, description and/or errors in pricing, Global Medical shall have the right to refuse or cancel any such orders whether or not the order has been confirmed and your credit card charged. If your credit card has already been charged for the purchase and your order is canceled, Global Medical shall immediately issue a full credit to your credit card account.
